Our Story
Welcome to our charity Born Too Soon
Born Too Soon was set up in 1985 by parents such as myself together with health professionals. The Charity was started as we recognised a need for not only support for parents but also for a need to purchase specialist equipment for the Neonatal Unit. Having had four children who benefited from the services provided by the unit, I felt it was time to give something back.
The charity was set up to support the Kingston Hospital Neonatal Unit. One of our team is always on hand to offer information and support. We have a volunteer group who generously hand make knitted cardigans, bonnets and blanket which we donate to parents.
Our aim is to help and support families at one of the most difficult times in their lives.
Born Too Soon recently celebrated its 40th Anniversary and are very proud of our achievements so far. For us to continue to improve and we need your support. Please join us and help support the unit.
Born Too Soon is the charity which supports the Neonatal Unit here at Kingston Hospital and has been doing so, since 1985. BThe charity provides state of the art equipment and all the special touches for families which make life easier, whilst your baby is being cared for on the Neonatal Unit here at Kingston Hospital NHS Trust.
Born Too Soon Charity has been supporting the neonatal unit for over 40 years. Your donations help support the Neonatal Unit and help and their families. The money raised by volunteers, supporters, events and donations all go to supporting the premature baby unit.
