In June, we participated in Dartmouth Triathlon to raise money and awareness of the work Born Too Soon does, particularly for children and families less fortunate than ours.

Edith and Robin were born unexpectedly at 32.5 weeks at Kingston Hospital. They weren’t quite ready for the outside world but we were fortunate enough to be looked after by the incredible team at Kingston’s NICU.

It was a tough time for all of us and the team at Kingston looked after the twins and prepared us for twin parenthood, as well as offering unwavering kindness, respect and support.

A year later and we have come a long way, but we still remember those early days in NICU and we are very grateful for all those who helped us.

Thank you for treating us with such kindness and grace. We think about you often.
